Embark on a 2.5-hour Twin Peaks ATV Adventure that begins with a seamless pickup from your accommodation in Reykjavik. This exhilarating journey takes you to the newly established headquarters of the ATV Operator, where you can find well-equipped bathrooms and complimentary coffee to kickstart your adventure.
Your expedition will lead you across the stunning landscapes of Hafravatn Lake and the breathtaking Icelandic wilderness. As you navigate through this unspoiled terrain, you will ascend Reykjavik Peak, where the panoramic views are nothing short of spectacular. From this vantage point, you will witness the sprawling beauty of Faxafloi bay, the rugged Esja mountain, and the vibrant city of Reykjavik, set against the backdrop of the enchanting Blue Mountains. The adventure continues as you tackle the steeper slopes of Lava Fields Mountain, which provides yet another unique perspective of the surrounding scenery, including visible steam rising from the Hellisheidi Geothermal power plant.
What a Traveller Actually Does
After a comprehensive briefing from the ATV team, you will mount your ATV and set off on an unforgettable ride. The experience is designed to be suitable for a wide range of participants, with a maximum of 20 people in each group, ensuring a more personalized experience. The thrill of riding across diverse terrains, combined with the chance to take in some of Iceland's most iconic views, makes this adventure both exciting and memorable.
